I have been waiting a long time to do this….totally chopped my hair off! 9 some inches. I was supposed to get it done last month but the night before I chickened out and cancelled. I am so glad I did it. It takes no time now to get ready! Lincoln gave me the stare down when I got home but quickly found he can still grab it, just doesn’t hurt mommy as much :)

I absolutely LOVE this phase we are in right now, such a happy boy!!
9 month stats (completely off preemie charts and on regular ones) : Weight- 18lbs 15oz , 25th% Length- 29.25in, 75th% Head- 44cm, 10-25th%
Here’s what’s been happening this past month:
-Drinks water/juice from sippy cup. He has so much fun with this and loves to bang it!
-Has 8 teeth now!!
-Lincoln completely enjoys spitting and doing this fake cough, he is pretty funny or so he thinks
-Is rolling all over to get places and starting to scoot. He doesn’t stay still for very long anymore
-Diaper changes have gotten very difficult as he wants to move all the time
-He battled a diaper rash for 6 weeks but finally found it what the cause was. We switched from Pampers Swaddlers to Pampers Cruisers (I didn’t think anything of it since it was still Pampers). However the Cruisers have a blue lining which is a dye, and every time it got wet the dye spread therefore causing this horrible hive like rash. It is called Diaper Dye Dermatitis. Now we know!
-Went to his first grill out/bon fire at Black Hawk Park
-He is a huge fan of taking baths and going outside so I know he will love the pool this summer!
-Got to go to garage sales:)
-Had first overnight sleepover at Gma and Gpa Manfulls without mommy and daddy!
-Got to help Gma and Gpa Kelly move into their new house last weekend!
-Lincoln is still a huge fan of food. He eats a lot of finger foods now. He has tried many more fruits this month: strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, blueberries, pears and peaches. He also started eating pancakes and broccoli. There is not one food this boy doesn’t like! He recently starting only having 4 bottles a day. He was only drinking 6-7oz but his Dr. wants him to increase that to 8oz (wants a total of 32oz a day) and she said she wants him on formula until 15 months.
Now we see a lot of Lincoln’s spitting and fake cough faces so I thought I would share some:)
I forgot I still haven’t showed some of Lincoln’s 6th month pictures daddy took (yes two months ago!). He did a great job! Now I still need to get these printed for our house.. hopefully before he turns 1 :)
Here we go, another month has come and gone! I swear in the last week Lincoln has changed so much! For a long time now he has always favored looking towards his right and we had constantly been working on him looking the other way. Then he would look more left but had his head still tilted. Now all of a sudden his head is normal like a big boy! They said once he gets more mobile this would fix itself and it finally did. Whew! Here is a list of things Lincoln is doing and loves these days:
-LOVES to eat!! There hasn’t been one thing he doesn’t like yet!
-Absolutely loves to be tickled and cracks up laughing
-He adores his dogs and puts his hands out now for them. He opens his mouth up when Abby comes up to him to kiss him (we need to put an end to that one!)
-Rolling back and forth all the time, reaching for everything, always ending up in a different spot. This week in his crib he now rolls over and sleeps on his tummy. I love walking in on him with his toosh all scrunched up in the air :)
-Getting better and closer at sitting up. He does it for longer periods of time now before tumbling over.
-He loves to be outside! If he is fussy inside and I walk outside with him, he automatically is calmed down. So we do this often:)
-Completely loves riding in daddy’s jeep
-His fussiness is better but still has quite the little attitude!
-He got put back on medicine this month for acid reflux so that has been a little better.
-Lincoln has two bottom teeth and his two top teeth are coming out!
-This boy loves to sleep! He is a super night time sleeper. He goes to bed between 8:00/8:30 and sleeps till 7:00/7:30. Naps fluctuate a little between an hour to sometimes even 3 hour nap for the morning and usually 1 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon.
-This boy has hair again!!
Life is good :)
