A year ago from today was a day that has changed our lives forever. A year ago our lil babe decided to arrive into this world 9 weeks early. 35 days of his life spent in the NICU. I can say it hasn’t been the easiest year of all, but he has brought so much joy and love into our lives. This time has gone by ever so fast and wish it would slow down just a bit. Here’s a lil glimpse of our sweet Lincoln over the past year.
This about to be 1 year old is changing quite a bit. Just within the last 2 weeks he is pulling himself up on furniture, standing and walking beside it. Here are some pics of what he’s been up to!

Last Sunday AJ and I took Lincoln to the Sunrise Petting Zoo in Waterloo. He is such an animal lover so thought he would enjoy it and he sure did. I think he would have rather climbed inside with the animals though! The top left pictures he was loving the pony, then it must of like smelled his finger or something and he got super sad (see bottom right picture!) Our time got cut short because there was a concert going to start and they needed to shut the gate in the parking lot. We then thought it would be fun to check out the splash pad. We didn’t have his suit or anything but it was still fun to hang out there for a bit with the mist of water on us since it was so hot! It was definitely a fun day all together:)
Lincoln was baptized Sunday August 15th at Orchard Hill Church with Dave Bartlett. It was such a special day for all of us. We pray we do our best job as his parents to teach him about the Lord and live a life following Christ. We were so happy for all the family that could be there to celebrate this day with us.
