10 months!

Lincoln turned 10 months on the 15th! I cannot believe we are only two months away from celebrating his first birthday – that is crazy! Lincoln is getting busier and busier everyday. Pretty much all he wants to do is scoot to all the dog toys or the dogs. I love how good they have been with him. Lincoln plays tug a war with Roy. He taunts Roy with his toys, so funny to watch. Lincoln moves really fast rolling all over the place and is very good at army crawling. He now gets up on all fours with his tummy off the ground and just rocks. As soon as he attempts to move he falls, kind of face planting but does not bother him one bit! His sitting is getting so much better. If he falls he usually catches himself with his hands now.

Lincoln had his first pool experience this month at the Falls. He loved it! Then we got our little pool out on the deck which is so much fun. He loves spending his days at home with mommy (or mommy likes it more, who knows:) He is an eating champ. I don’t puree many foods anymore. He pretty much eats what we eat now which is so much easier. Some new foods he loves are: pancakes/waffles, eggs, yogurt, mac and cheese, and pizza! Sweet potatoes and avocado are still favorites. Honestly he eats anything you put in front of him, but he will pick out the breads if those are mixed in!

Sleeping had never been an issue but for some reason this week he started waking up one or two times and just screams. Sometimes we have to go in and pat his back for a second and then he is fine. I have no idea where this is coming from. He shouldn’t be teething, already has 8 teeth! Some days he has slept in until 8:45, even while going to bed at 8 so that part has been amazing. Rarely does he wake up before 7:20.

Life is good enjoying summer and this growing boy!
