My brother was able to make it back to Iowa from Colorado for about 10 days and split the nights between our house and my parents house. Monte had only seen Lincoln during Christmas time so a lot has changed since then. It was so much having him here. His finance, Erica, came for a few days too before they headed to Michigan with her family to do wedding planning. A few days after they left our house my family actually went on a little vacation to Michigan to meet Erica’s family. It was a relaxing time enjoying time together in the crazy heat. One day there was a nice breeze and we enjoyed time on the beach at Lake Michigan. Lincoln had a blast in the water!! We will get to see Uncle Monte one more time as he stops back here on his way back home. We miss him already!!

Michigan trip:
I was too lazy to go in and get Lincoln’s swim diaper so we left him in his regular diaper. Holy cow that thing must have weighed 10 pounds. He eventually got naked :)
Lincoln slept for almost an hour and a half on me! I guess I fell asleep too and daddy captured some pictures :)
